Online Tutoring Program

Minnesota State University, Mankato

Currently, MSU, Mankato offers robust on-campus tutoring through a variety of departments. The University, internal to B507, asked us to make their tutoring software more user friendly.

Online Tutoring Program (OTP) is a web application created for the Center for Academic Success, Student Support Services and the Writing Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato. OTP allows students to schedule both in-person and online tutoring sessions, share documents, and coordinate synchronous online tutoring sessions with tutors via Skype. This system also helps tutors set their schedules in cooperation with the tutoring center staff and helps managers see current activity detail. The details can be used to analyze trends within the different tutoring centers.
